Services for Jacobe Coffer, 84, of Moody, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Moody Cemetery with Chaplain Buddy Burton officiating.

Mr. Coffer died Thursday, Jan. 4, in a Temple hospital.

He was born near Gholson to Malley Coffer and Frances Vanck Coffer. He served in the Army during World War II. He lived in Gholson and Houston before moving to Moody about 40 years ago. He had worked as a farmer, a body repairman, a blacksmith and as a handyman.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
