Services for J. Curtis Early, 81, of Temple, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mr. Early died Tuesday, Jan. 9, in a local hospital.

He was born in Chico to James Clarence and Ola Mae (Odell) Early. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-46. He married Ann Skinner on Aug. 19, 1981. He was an electrician for more than 50 years. He served on the Troy City Council, was a member of the Sheriff
