Services for Ruby E. Johnson, 85, of Temple, will be 2 p.m., today at Heights Baptist Church in Temple, with the Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson died Jan. 11, in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Leander to William and Susan McCarty Dodd. She was 6-years-old when her family moved to Bell County. She attended Belton High School. She married Sherman Johnson in 1937 before moving to Temple and Gallup, N.M.

The family returned to Temple where they owned and operated the Elite Caf
