Services for Martha Ray Poquette, 76, of Temple will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Dr. Jerry Kirkpatrick officiating.
She died Thursday, Jan. 18, in a local hospital.
She was born in Temple to Ray and Alpha (Kinsey) Jones. She graduated from Temple High School in 1947 and from a Temple business school.
She married Edsel Poquette on Jan. 3, 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses in Temple, including Arlon Greiner. She was active in the Girl Scout Bluebonnet Council and served as a scout leader in several local Girl Scout troops.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Temple, the Benevolent Order of Does of the Temple Elks Lodge and the VFW Women
