Temple did a better job of overcoming its limitations, taking an 82-60 victory over rival Belton in a sometimes wild and erratic contest.
The Wildcats (12-13), who won for only the fourth time since Dec. 5, saw their lead wither to 69-60 with 3:25 to play before scoring the final 13 points of the game.
