UMHB held Sul Ross State scoreless for the first seven minutes and maintained a comfortable cushion the rest of the way as the Crusaders won their eighth straight game by beating the Lobos 64-52 Monday night at Pete P. Gallego Center.
After winning six consecutive home games, UMHB (12-3, 8-3 American Southwest Conference) has won two straight on the road heading into the finale of a three-game trip Thursday night at Texas Lutheran in Seguin.
