Guyden, Ford have big games as Crusaders win 10th straight

BELTON - Playing for the fourth time in what will be a 10-game stretch in the span of 21 days, Mary Hardin-Baylor would have had reason to be weary.

Instead, the Crusaders wore out the Schreiner Mountaineers.

Triggered by a scintillating performance from Kevin Guyden and a career-best effort from Neiman Ford, UMHB blazed to its 10th consecutive victory with a 101-90 win Saturday afternoon at Mayborn Campus Center.

In front of a season-high crowd of more than 1,000, the Crusaders (14-3, 10-3 American Southwest Conference) tied a school record for consecutive wins and crested the 100-point mark for the first time in almost two years.
