Services for Otis Rogers Sr., 75, of Temple, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eighth Street Baptist Church in Temple with the Rev. Roscoe Harrison officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Temple.
Mr. Rogers died Saturday, Jan. 26, in a local hospital.
He was born in Smithville to Vastine and Anna L. Gaines Rogers. He attended Smithville public schools. He married Anglean Gamble in Temple. He worked as a car salesman for Lane Auto Sales and Beach-Harding Motors.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Survivors are his wife of Temple; two daughters, Jewel Ann Rogers of Fort Worth and Nelton M. Duncan of Temple; two sons, Collis Robertson of Fort Worth and Ernest Gamble of Dallas, three brothers, Johnny Banks of Belton, Bobby Joe Banks of Gatesville and Benny Lee Banks of Temple; four sisters, Doris Curtis, Annie M. Banks, Beverly G. Leaks, all of Temple, and Betty Ceola Banks of Pennsylvania; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be noon-6 p.m. today with visitation 5-6 p.m. in Hornsby-Murcherson Funeral Home in Temple.
The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
