Brittany Ellis won the Senior Speed Event Championship and Loreal Fritz won Reserve Champion.
In the Junior Speed Event, Lauren Bedrich won Champion and Reserve Champion is Jacy Sodek.
The horse show is just one of many events featured at the youth fair. Other events include animal breeding, steer roping and even candy making. The youth fair also hosts an auction sale. Steers, swine, lambs, meat goats, commercial broilers, turkeys, rabbits, fryers, roasters, pastries and candies are available.
In addition to livestock and sweets, the fair also features woodworking, leather and other crafts. This division includes model cars, planes and ships, recycled crafts and Leggo or other snap together models. Other areas of art include, photography, drawing and fashion.
The youth fair ends Saturday, Feb. 10. Membership for the Bell County Youth fair is $10 per person and the general membership meeting is the last week of March.
Participants of the youth fair are members of Future Farmers of America, Four H, and FCLA organizations in the area. Horse show superintendent, Joy Hooper said,
