Since it was built in the late 1960s, the Temple High School auditorium has hosted more than 160 theatrical productions and thousands of concerts and assemblies. Time and the tramping of thousands of rushing feet on its wooden stage floors have extracted a heavy toll on the 40-year-old auditorium.
