ROCKDALE — Dorothy Jane Reed, 74, of Fairfield and formerly Rockdale and Canyon Lake, died Saturday, May 5, at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Robert Shipley officiating.

Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

She was born in Cherryvale, Kan., to Frederick and Gladys Miller Molidor. She married Gaston M. Reed on Oct. 29, 1949, in Hillsboro. She was a homemaker.

Her husband, a son, Allen Dale Reed, and a daughter, Janice Whiteley, preceded her in death.

Survivors are three sons, Joe Reed of Corsicana, Larry Reed of Dallas and Lee Reed of Bryan; two daughters, Sandi Nitcholas of Fairfield and Jo Ann Farrell of Teague; a brother, Paul Molidor of Emory; 22 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5–7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
