KILLEEN — A memorial service for Roberto I. Diaz, 81, of Copperas Cove will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Richard O’Rourke, MSC, officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Mr. Diaz died Thursday, May 10, in Copperas Cove.

He was born in Puerto Rico and he owned Diaz Painting Contractors and Texas Sign Company. He had lived in Killeen since 1969.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Diaz of Copperas Cove; two sons, Domingo Diaz of Houston and Edward Diaz of Killeen; two daughters, Sandra Palacio of Killeen and Linda Warman of Harker Heights; one stepson, Ralph Deharde Jr. of Copperas Cove; two stepdaughters, Michelle Smart of Connecticut and Felicitas Davis of Killeen; and one sister, Gloria Martinez of Las Vegas.
