BELTON — Shirley Arnold, 70, of Salado died Saturday, May 26, at a Temple hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Salado Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Bentley officiating.

Mrs. Arnold was born in Prairie Dell to Jessie James Warrick and Leah Elizabeth Reid Warrick.

She married James “Joe” Arnold on Dec. 19, 1953, in Salado.

He preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1996.

She was a waitress at the Stagecoach Inn for 47 years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include three sons, Gaylon Arnold of and Joe Arnold, both of Salado and Kirk Arnold of Belton; one daughter, Pam Arnold Brown of Port Lavaca; one brother, Buck Warrick of Youngsport; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
