She died Monday, June 4, at her home.

She was born in Eddy to Jim Henry and Bessie (Standridge) Lay. She was reared and educated in Bruceville-Eddy. She married William “Bill” Gregg on July 10, 1993, in Temple.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Rafael Arismendez Montez “J.R.” of Belton and Christopher Michael Gregg of Moody; five daughters, Denise Schneider, Helena Dawn Cintron and Kimberly Marie Daw, all of Temple, Karen Spillers of Waco and Stephanie Michelle Gregg of Moody; a brother, Billy Joe Lay of Bruceville-Eddy; two sisters, Dorris Barron of Temple and Glenda Dale Heath of Houston; and three grandchildren.
