Private services for Melton “Racky” Crawford, 52, of Cameron will be at a later date.

Mr. Crawford died Thursday, June 21, in a Temple hospital.

He was born in Wharton to Milton and Anita Rhea Willis Crawford. He worked in construction.

Survivors are a son, James Melton Crawford of Rockdale; and a sister, Janet Orloff of Mannington, W. Va.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of services.
