Two people rescued from rising flood water near Little River

LITTLE RIVER-ACADEMY – The Moffat Volunteer Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team rescued two people from their house on Dice Grove Road near Little River early Wednesday morning.

      Water, about 5 feet deep, surrounded the house built on stilts as the Little River - swollen from excessive rainfall - jumped its banks.
