R.C. Berry, 94, of Temple died Friday, July 6, at a Temple nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Moody with minister James Haney officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Moffat Cemetery.
Mr. Berry was born in Cedar Creek to Albert Benjamin and Fannie Lela Berry. He worked 10 years as a maintenance technician for the Texas Highway Department before retiring in September 1976. He married Claudia Merle Berry on Sept. 6, 1933. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two sons.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Perkins of Eddy, Jane Mcafee of Odessa and Betty Taylor of San Antonio; four sisters, Annie Walker of Troy, Cordelia Donohue and Charlene Humbert, both of Temple, and Doris Purvis of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Christ Building Fund in Moody.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
