Private services for Grace S. Lorenzo, 48, of Harker Heights will be at a later date.
Mrs. Lorenzo died Sunday, July 22, in a Temple nursing center.
She was born in Elizabethtown, Ky. to Alfred George and Song Ja Moon Mayo. She was a resident of Bell County most of her life. She was a graduate of Copperas Cove High School and Alvin Community College in Houston. She was a registered nurse, and had worked at King’s Daughters Hospital, Metroplex Hospital, Temple Living Centers, and several home health care organizations in the area.
Survivors are her husband, Martin Hernandez of Harker Heights; three daughters, Shawnette Jimenez of Dublin, Ohio, Melodie Garman of Summerville, S.C. and Grace M. Lorenzo of Harker Heights; her parents of Killeen; three brothers, George Mayo, Gene Mayo and Jr. Mayo, all of Killeen; two sisters, Becky Free of Fort Worth and Patty Barton of Killeen; and six grandchildren.
Temple Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
