KILLEEN — A Mass of Christian Burial for Hazel L. Piscunere, 83, of Harker Heights will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen with the Rev. Joseph Varickamackal officiating.

Burial will be in Killeen Memorial Park.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mrs. Piscunere died Friday, Aug. 3, at a Copperas Cove nursing home.

She was born in Irongate, Va., to Abraham Simmons and Stella Clarkson and she was a homemaker. She married Fredinard Piscunere. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a son, Leonard Piscunere. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen. She was a longtime resident of Harker Heights.

Survivors are one daughter, Roena Costa of Belton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild, four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
