MOODY — Services for Lena Merle Hill, 90, of Moody will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Moody with the Rev. Don Johnson and Lianne Turner officiating.

Burial will be in Moody Cemetery.

Mrs. Hill died Friday, Aug. 17.

She was born in Moody to Finis S. and Dora Alice Hagler Garmon. She attended school in Willow Grove and graduated from Moody High School. She married Darl B. Hill on March 23, 1940, in Moody and he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2006. She was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild. She worked for J.M. Woods Manufacturing in Temple and Waco as a sewing supervisor, retiring in 1981. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Moody, where she was a member of the Friendship Class and served on the bereavement committee.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Kilgore of Hewitt, Peggy Haas of Temple; one sister, Eleanor Allison of Temple; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday at Cole Chapel in Moody.
