BELTON — A memorial service for Edith Mathews, 68, of Morgan’s Point will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Moffat Schoolhouse.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 4, at her home.

Mrs. Mathews was born in Moffat to Ned EK and Evelyn Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Guy Mathews of Morgan’s Point; one daughter, Joyce Kretz of Las Vegas, N.M.; her mother of Belton; two brothers, Leon EK Brown and Derrall Brown, both of Belton; two sisters, Jewell Issacks and Frances Drake, both of Belton; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
