BELTON — Elinor Emogene Johnson, 77, of Temple died Saturday, Sept. 8, at a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with minister Joe Baisden and Shane Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Little River-Wilson Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnston was born in Union, Veron County, Wis., to Merlie and Sarah Granger Lewis.
She worked as a customer service representative at Sears. She married John Robert Johnston on Nov. 22, 1947, in Edcouch.
He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Lewis Johnston and Ray Johnston. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include one son, Danny Jay Johnston of Temple; three daughters, Jackie Kay James of Amarillo, Rochelle Lynn Oldham of Belton and Tammy Corrine Hardt of Belton; one brother, Lindy L. Lewis of Arlington; one sister, Judy Rae Smith of Denton; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
