ROCKDALE — Services for Michael Lynn McCoy, 44, of Thorndale will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Jeff Stull and the Rev. Nita Newman officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Mr. McCoy died Saturday, Sept. 8, at a Rockdale hospital.

He was born in Galveston to Herschel and Helen “Joyce” Stolte McCoy. He married Jackie Faye Walton on May 8, 1993, in Taylor. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a graduate of Thorndale High School.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Christopher Craig Johnson, Roger Kole McCoy and Rowdy James McCoy, all of Thorndale; one daughter, Lyndsi Donn McCoy of Taylor; his parents; three brothers, Tommy McCoy, James McCoy and Kevin McCoy, all of Thorndale; one sister, Kim McCoy Jordan of Thorndale; grandmothers, Zula Stolte of Rockdale and Maurine McCoy of Taylor; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
