Services for Norma Loraine Farber, 98, of Temple will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple with Chaplain Chuck Davis officiating.

Mrs. Farber died Tuesday, Sept. 11, at a Temple nursing home.

She was born in Timpson to Walter Thomas Hughes and Fannie Clifton Hughes.

She was a homemaker. She married Fred A. Farber on Feb. 14, 1940, in Liberty County. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1976. She was a member of First United Methodist in Temple and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include one son, Robert Farber of Austin; one daughter, Sandra Wiley of Moffat; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
