ROCKDALE — James D. “Buck” Stewart, 51, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rockdale Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Doug Springer officiating.
A second service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Whitsett with the Rev. John Work officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Retreat Cemetery in Whitsett.
Mr. Stewart was born in Three Rivers to Carl Lee Stewart Jr. and Merl Ruth Everett Stewart.
He owned and operated 3S Metal Buildings in Rockdale the last 11 years.
He had lived in Rockdale the last 21 years after moving from Whitsett.
Survivors include one son, Randy Stewart of Rockdale; his parents of McCoy; six brothers, Rusty Stewart of Poteet, Lloyd Stewart of Loma Alto, Clayton Stewart of Caldwell, Troy Stewart and Nathaniel “Nat” Stewart, both of McCoy and Daryl “BB” Stewart of Freer; and one sister, Caroline “Sissy” Stewart of Bastrop.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
