LAMPASAS — Services for Marjorie Lucille Nail Matthys, 86, of Lampasas will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas with the Rev. Tim Ochsner officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas

Mrs. Matthys died Saturday, Sept. 15, at her home.

She was born in Wharton to Walter Garrett and Anna Teske Garrett. She was a bookkeeper for the Wharton County tax assessor’s office. She married Lother Matthys in October 2002. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas. She was preceded in death by her first husband.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; two sisters, Charlean Dixon and Irene Garrett, both of Wharton; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas or to the charity of choice.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
