LAMPASAS — Ruth Frances Haynie, 95, of Lampasas died Sunday, Sept. 16, at a Lampasas hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lampasas.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mrs. Haynie was born in Lampasas to J.H. Waggoner and Willie Bridgers Waggoner. She worked 42 years for the Lampasas school district, retiring as the lunchroom manager.
After her retirement, she worked 20 years as a volunteer at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. She married Walter Watkins Haynie on June 30, 1935, in Lampasas.
He preceded her in death. She attended schools in Lampasas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas where she had perfect Sunday School attendance for 55 years.
Survivors include one son, Walter Haynie of Lampasas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church just prior to the service.
Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas is in charge of arrangements.
