COPPERAS COVE — A memorial service for Darlene Hutson, 49, of Copperas Cove will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday at 718 N. 19th St. in Copperas Cove.

Mrs. Hutson died Wednesday, Sept. 26, at a Temple hospital.

She was born in Crockett to Felston and Lena Flowers. She was a homemaker. She was reared and educated in Austin. She graduated from Del Valle High School in 1976. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Ponder in July 2004.

Survivors include one son, Brian Ponder of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Misty Turner of Fort Hood and Mallory Ponder of Copperas Cove; her mother, Lena Chellette of Del Valle; her stepfather, Willie Chellette of Del Valle; and two grandchildren.

Chisolm’s Family Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
