E.J. Cobb, 89, of Temple died Monday, Jan. 8, in a Temple hospital.

Services with full military honors will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bellwood Memorial Park with minister Joe Baisden officiating.

Mr. Cobb was born in Rogers to John J. and Mary Epsie Faulkner Cobb. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a senior master sergeant after 24 years of services. He later worked for several years as general manager of Tranum Buick. He married Doris Faye Brooks on Sept. 20, 1954. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2006. He was a member of the VFW Post in Belton.

Survivors are a daughter, Paula Faye Clawson of Killeen; two sons, Charles Brooks Stone of Belton and Ron Kirchem of Los Altos, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
