Services for Johnnie Joe Psencik Jr., 54, of Little River-Academy will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Stan Troy officiating.
Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery.
Mr. Psencik died Saturday, Sept. 29, at a Temple hospital.
He was born in Temple to Johnnie Joe Psencik Sr. and Della Hejl Psencik. He was a maintenance supervisor for the Temple school district. He had also been a service technician for the Ira Young automobile dealership in Temple. He married Brenda Cox on Oct. 11, 1997. He was a member of Strays Motorcycle Club, Harley Davidson Owners Group and the American Motorcyclist Association. He attended the Brethren Church. He had lived many years in Temple before moving to Little River-Academy two years ago.
Survivors include his wife of Little River-Academy; one son, Johnnie Joe Psencik III of Little River-Academy; one stepson, Jeremiah Poppell of Georgia; one stepdaughter, Jenafer Huffines of Dallas; one brother, Ronnie Psencik of Temple; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
