GATESVILLE — Services for Martin Foster, 54, of Gatesville will be 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Gatesville with the Rev. Bruce Cox officiating.

Burial will be in Martin Ranch Cemetery.

Mr. Foster died Monday, Oct. 29, in a Waco hospital.

He was born in Gatesville to Robert D. and Pauline Martin Foster. He grew up in Gatesville. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1972 and attended Sam Houston State University. He married Debbie Cole in 1974. He married Sherry Hibbert in 1994. He was a farmer and rancher, employed by Turner Livestock. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and attended Mound Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife, of Gatesville; a son, Marty Foster of Gatesville; a daughter, Gina Ament of Gatesville; mother, of Gatesville; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors after the service at their home.

Arrangements are being handled by Gatesville Funeral Home.
