ROCKDALE — A memorial service for Glenda Ann Bender Barlow, 49, of Davilla will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Davilla Baptist Church with the Rev. David Cox officiating.

Mrs. Barlow died Monday, Oct. 8, at a Bartlett nursing home.

She was born in Tecumseh, Mich., to Albert B. Bender and Della Grewhain. She was a graphics artist 25 years with G&S Typesetters in Austin. She had lived in Davilla the last nine years. She attended the Baptist church.

Survivors include one son, Juan Villarreal of Davilla; one daughter, Megan Hassinger of Davilla; two brothers, Paul Bender and Theodore Bender, both of Michigan; and two sisters, Joanna Janish of Michigan and Catherine Spangler of Washington.
