BELTON — Services for Doris Evelyn Pierce Lagrone, 84, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Friday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Martin Know officiating.
Burial will be 3 p.m. in Laurelland Cemetery in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Lagrone died Saturday, Nov. 3, at her residence.
She was born in Ben Arnold to Don Mac Nichols and Mary Smith Nichols. She was a high school graduate. She married her first husband Robert Lamar Pierce in 1942 in LaMargue. He preceded her in death July 7, 1992. She then married William R. Lagrone on Nov. 19, 1995, in Grandbury. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Temple.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Pierce of Fort Worth; two daughters, Carol Jennings of Kerrville, and Janet Zeravicka of Austin; a step-son, Bill Lagrone of Buckholts; two step-daughters, Sandra Miller and Mona Lewis, both of Temple; three sisters, Velma Green of Temple, Lillian Crowley of Valley Mills, Alice Street of Cleburne; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5206, Temple 76505.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
