CAMERON — Services for Morris Coleman Duncum, 91, of Cameron will be 10 a.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Olden Cook officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mr. Duncum died Friday, Nov. 9, at a Temple hospital.
He was born in Cameron to Isaac Duncum and Dora Alice McCall Duncum. He was a 1935 graduate of C.H. Yoe High School. He married Bertha Baylor. He owned a service station in high school. He was employed at Sapp Motor Co., and after serving in the U.S. Army in World War II, he purchased the business. In 1959, he closed Duncum Motors and purchased the John Deere dealership. He retired in 1975. He served two terms as Cameron mayor. He was a member of the Cameron ISD Board of Trustees, and board president for five years. As a Church of Christ member he was an elder in both Cameron and Milam County.
Survivors include he wife; one son, John Morris Duncum of Bryan; one daughter, Mary Alice Cure of Waller; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
