Services for Mildred Queen Davidson, 94, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Martin Knox officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Mrs. Davidson was born in Temple to Eli Mason and Annie Gott Shepperd. She graduated from Temple High School in 1931. She married Walter Davidson Sr. on July 15, 1936. She worked at the Memorial Baptist Church nursery. In 1958 she became member, founder and director of First Baptist Church Child Development Center until she retired in 1978. She was a member of the Degree of Honor. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Walter Davidson Jr. and one grandson.

Survivors include one son, Paul Davidson of Arlington; two daughters, Glenda Moseley and Jo Ann Jordan both of Morgan’s Point Resort; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Child Development Center, 102 W. Barton Ave., Temple 76501.

A family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
