LAMPASAS — Services for Ted S. Greathouse, 88, of Lampasas will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

He died Friday, Nov. 16, at a Temple hospital.

Mr. Greathouse was born in Robstown to Lawrence Allen Greathouse and Maude Emma Coleman Greathouse. He went to work for the Campbell family at 16 years old and worked on ranches until his death. Ted served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic. He was with General Patton’s troops when the U.S. entered Italy and Sicily. He was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ in Lampasas.

Survivors are two nephews, Robert Bailey of Burnet and Kenneth Bailey of Ala.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
