Services for Elleen B. Ford, 89, of Temple will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church in Temple with the Rev. David Allwine and the Rev. Michael Wyckoff officiating.

Burial will follow in Wilson Valley Cemetery in Little River.

Mrs. Ford died Saturday, Nov. 17, at a Temple nursing home.

She was born in Little River to James C. and Cleo Kirkpatrick Blakey. She retired from Houston Bank & Trust in 1979 as a bank officer. She married Robert E. Ford on Feb. 2, 1974 and they moved to Bell County in 1981.

She was an active member of The Newcomers Club, The Federation Women’s Club, The Bluebonnet Club, The Retired Officer’s Women’s Club, The Republican Women’s Club, a delegate to the Church Women of Temple and The Thursday Club.

Survivors are her husband; one son, Wade Ford of Lubbock; two daughters, Linda Quinn of Austin and Sharon Currans of Houston; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
