Graveside services for William H. Winburne, 85, of Troy will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Belfalls Cemetery near Belfalls with the Rev. Earnest Thompson officiating.

Mr. Winburne died Wednesday, Nov. 21, at a Desoto hospital.

He was born in Temple to George Pierce and Sally Annette Downey Pierce. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by Tarply Radio and Television as a technician. He lived in Troy for more then 38 years. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Operators Club. He married Eleanor McDonald on Jan. 31, 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife and by one daughter, Ruth Annette Moon.

Survivors are one daughter, Adele T. Shelton of Wilmer; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
