Lydia G. Schroeder

MARLIN — Services for Lydia Glockzin Schroeder, 93, of Riesel will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church near Riesel with the Rev. Robert Kitson officiating.

Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Schroeder died Friday, Nov. 30.

She was born in Falls County to Otto Glockzin and Emma Rhnett Glockzin. She retired from the Bert Richey Company as a sewing machine operator after 27 years of service. She was a life long resident of Falls County. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Lioness Club and the Senior Citizens Club of the Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore C. Schroeder.

Survivors are two sons, Roy E. Schroeder of Temple, Kenneth W. Schroeder of Arlington; three brothers, Albert Glockzin of Robinson, Curtis Glockzin of Riesel, Alfred Glockzin of Bedford; four sisters: Selma Mulsow of Marlin, Elsie Crump of Georgia, Ruby Kattner of Riesel, Mary Ruth Williams of Waco; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church Sanctuary.
