CAMERON — Services for Emilie Slavik Hearell, 91, of Cameron will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.

A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hearell died Sunday, Dec. 2, at a Temple hospital.

She was born in Cameron to Joseph Slavik and Agnes Kostroun Slavik. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband James D. “Slim” Hearell, and two sons, Jerome Zaleski and Ernest Zaleski.

Survivors are three sons, Bill J. Zaleski of Houston, Gene Zaleski of Caldwell, Richard Hearell of Temple; two daughters, Joyce Vandergriff of Waco, Evelyn Farquhar of Needville; two step-sons, Charles Hearell and James Hearell both of Temple; one sister, Ann Bledsoe of Shawnee, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
