COPPERAS COVE — Graveside services with full military honors for retired Sgt. 1st Class William C. Winston, 51, of Copperas Cove will be 1 p.m. Friday in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

He died Dec. 9 at a Temple hospital.

Mr. Winston was born in Flint, Mich., to William Winston and Nita Winston. He married Robin in Las Vegas in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army until his retirement in 1996. He was employed by Blackhawk Management Corporation on Fort Hood.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Bill Winston of Florida; a daughter, Maria Winston of Florida; a stepson, Brandon Craddock of Lampasas; a brother, Dean Winston of Florida; a sister, Jonell Johnson of Florida; and his mother, Nita Goe of Florida.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
