COPPERAS COVE — Services for retired Master Sgt. Cecil R. Hamm, 83, of Copperas Cove will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

Burial will follow with full military honors in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

He died Friday, Dec. 21, at a Fort Hood hospital.

Mr. Hamm was born in Pemberton, W. Va., to Marion Hamm and Glenda Hamm. He supported the Second Chance Animal Shelter.

Survivors are his wife, Renate Hamm of Copperas Cove; a son, Cecil Robert Hamm Jr. of Killeen; a daughter, Chris Hamm-Goodwin of Fort Worth; two sisters, Nina Mae Monarchy of Beckley, W. Va., Mary Etta Hogan of Oak Hill, W. Va.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, 5501 Clear Creek Road, Killeen 76549.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
