Memorial services for Elma Loretta Long Kimbro, 81, of Eddy will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Pentecostals of Central Texas Church in Bruceville with the Rev. Bill Moore officiating.

Mrs. Kimbro died Friday, Dec. 21, at a Temple hospital.

She was born in Tridelphia, W. Va., to Frank Orth and Martha Flynn Orth. She was raised in West Virginia and lived in Ohio for many years before moving to Eddy 15 years ago. She married Maynard E. Long. He preceded her in death. She then married Thomas C. Kimbro on Nov. 25, 1999. She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 548 in Ohio and was a member of Pentecostals of Central Texas Church in Bruceville. She was also preceded in death by a son, Fritzie G. Hess on Nov. 16, 1970.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Martha J. Jones of Canton, Ohio, Shirley A. Case of Bruceville, Cathy M. Myers of Louisville, Ohio; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
