Earl Campbell

Earl Thomas Campbell, 78, of Temple died Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bellwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Campbell was born in Scott County, Ky., to John P. and Celia (Vallandingham) Campbell. He served in the Army and was a helicopter mechanic. He also worked for Hercules in McGregor.

His wife, Mary Emily (Pitrucha) Campbell, preceded him in death.

Survivors are two stepdaughters, Rosemary Snodgrass Goode of Rusk and Glenda Bailey of Brownwood; two brothers, Lloyd Taylor and Carl F. Taylor, both of Shelbyville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
