Services for Charles Lee Walker III, 72, of Waco will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Austin Avenue Methodist Church in Waco.
Burial will be in Oenaville.
Mr. Walker died Tuesday, Feb. 6.
He was born in Temple. He graduated from Temple High School and completed coursework at the University of Texas and University of the South (Sewanee). He served in the U.S. Navy medical corps, stationed primarily at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in California, before becoming disabled during service. He married Eleanor Meadows in 1955.
He was a member of Austin Avenue Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir for many years. He was also involved in Habitat for Humanity.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors are a son, Mark Walker of Austin; a daughter, Debbie Andrle of Ross; and two granddaughters.
Memorials may be made to Austin Avenue Methodist Church.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
