KILLEEN — Graveside services for Jessie “Thelma” (Cosper) Gates, 86, of Killeen will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Live Oak Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Gates died Monday, Dec. 28, in a Belton nursing center.

She was born in Jarrell to Jessie and Gracie (Morgan) Cosper. She was preceded in death by her husband Ellie “Blackie” Gates January 1969, and a grandson, Ricky Auman.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Gates of Killeen, Jane Skjothaug of Washington, and Janet Stilwell of Nolanville; one sister, Doris Turnbo; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
