A memorial service and visitation for Helen G. Huddleston, 84, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Allen officiating.

Mrs. Huddleston died Monday, Jan. 7, at a Temple hospital.

She was born in Springfield, Mo. to Louis Becker and Ida Becker. She married Leslie E. Huddleston on Dec. 4, 1945. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League. She was also a member of the Officer Wives Club. She and her husband owned and operated the Killeen Duplicate Bridge Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 16, 1988, and a son, Michael.

Survivors are two sons, Leslie Gilbert Huddleston of Crane, Mo., Scott Gregory Huddleston of Killeen; a daughter, Susan Huddleston Gosney of Temple; three sisters; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanities and the Temple Civic Theater.
