LAMPASAS — Services for Hiram Walker Jones, 67, of Adamsville will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Adamsville with the Rev. Glynn Tyson and Marcus Foster officiating.
Burial will be in Townsen Cemetery near Adamsville.
Mr. Jones died Friday, Jan. 11, at his home.
He was born in Adamsville to Luther D. Jones and Lena Elizabeth Green Jones. He married Linda McClain in Lampasas on Dec. 8, 1964. He was elected Constable for Lampasas County in 1978 and was serving in that capacity at the time of his death. He was also a deputy with the Lampasas County Sheriff’s office. He had received advanced law enforcement training, and was a member of the Texas Sheriff’s Association and the Texas Constable’s Association. He was a Methodist.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Beth Foster, Nikki Hyatt and Amanda Simmons, all of Adamsville; two brothers, Darrell Jones of Adamsville, Troy Jones of Lampasas; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
