Graveside services with full military honors for David Madison Wilks, 77, of Belton will be 1 p.m. today in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with the Rev. Jack Riley officiating.

Mr. Wilks died Monday, Jan. 14, at a Temple hospital.

He was born June 20, 1930, in Muskogee, Okla., to Terrance and Elsie Pierce Wilks. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown in 1947 and then joined the U.S. Army. He was injured in the Korean War.

Survivors are a sister, Diane Gillette of League City.

Sheffield Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
