Kay Alton Dunson

ROSEBUD —Graveside services for Kay Alton Dunson, 94, of Lott will be 2 p.m. Friday in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott with Dr. Carl Jennings Jr. officiating.

Mr. Dunson died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at a Temple hospital.

He was born Jan. 22, 1913, in Menard to Henry Dunson and Daisy Hale Dunson. He served in the U.S. Army for four years. While in the service he made artificial arms and legs. He worked in the trucking industry and after retirement he refinished antique furniture at his home in Lott. He learned to play the guitar at age three and played for many area churches and musicals.

Survivors are his ex-wife, Neta Mae Dunson of Rosebud; a brother, the Rev. W.J. ‘Jody’ Dunson of Early; and a sister, Connell Nail of Odessa.

Visitation will be noon-1:30 p.m. Friday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
